Skills or Prerequisites to Learn HANA

Skills required to become an SAP HANA Developer?

   Ø  Database knowledge(OLTP /OLAP) and good knowledge on SQL.
   Ø  Designing Data Models- prior ETL experience will be added advantage.
   Ø  Knowledge of SAP ERP & Analytics .
   Ø  Apart from above skills learn SQL Script, Stored Procedures, Triggers.

            If you are interested in programming OR Coding then learn Java script, HTML 5.

Following are the skills required to bag a HANA Modeller Job


                 Attribute Views, Analytical Views, Calculation Views, Scripted procedures

                 Design and Implement security models based on ECC requirements

          HANA Modeller must have an prior experience on data modelling concepts 
        either SAP or NON-SAP

    Hi md Izahaq..thanks that you liked the blog.. i will update how you can go in different paths in HANA.. for fresher it is difficult to get job on bw hana combination..You can try on the coding part on hana..

    Sap mobility, UI5 or Fiori.. these are the options that i recommend for fresher in sap.. if you are looking for admin module then sap basis

    Sir, I am placed in TCS and choose SAP stream, as i am a non IT/CSE.
    So, I wonder wheather SAP has the best opportunities for freshers...

    hi md Izahaq.. congrats for placed in TCS..Already you have placed then there is no worry about SAP..as a fresher
    you can work in the TCS and gain some knowledge..no need to worry about background..all are equal inside the company..on which module you are working now?

    Thank you sir, I am still waiting for my jl. I am about to join SAP HANA in tcs. So I am also interesting in coding part. Does HANA supports coding ?
    Plz recommend me the basic course need to know before joining so that i can perform well in training...

    you can learn SQL step by step and gain knowledge..
    if you finish SQL then if you are into coding in TCS then learn HTML and java script
